Cork Debuts Sunday Brunch 7/17

It feels like just yesterday that brunch and lunch options were as scarce as a good parking space in my Logan Circle neighborhood. My how things have changed, and I'm thrilled to report that weekend brunchers will have another great option when Cork Wine Bar starts serving a mid-morning repast July 17.

Some of Cork's most popular small plates — I'm looking at you avocado bruschetta — will be served alongside new menu items.

Here's an exclusive preview of Cork's new brunch items:

Cork Brunch Menu

Pastries
Bacon cheddar scone
Maple oat scone or blueberry scone with summer peach butter
Individual pan-baked cinnamon rolls
Raspberry buckle
Lemon poppy seed muffins

New Hot Plates
Cork-cured juniper gravlax, potato apple cake, bacon and crème fraiche
Savory bread pudding, crispy speck, St. George cheese, herb-infused custard
Curry tofu (or egg) scramble, scallions, peppers, spinach and sesame oil
Coddled egg, garlic roasted rock shrimp, lemon thyme cream, caramelized leeks, wilted arugula with ciabatta croutons
Baked egg in Parmesan crust, wild mushrooms, asparagus, goat cheese, Gruyere cheese
Crispy polenta, charred heirloom tomato, spicy tomato sauce, poached egg, crème fraiche
Oven crisped brioche french toast, orange scented ricotta, Port wine syrup with cherry compote
