Spooked by brains, blood and creepy crawlies on your dinner plate? American
palates are arguably getting more accustomed to the innards and
exotic fare that people the world over have long enjoyed. And DC has plenty of eateries to help expand your limits, from tripe at Ethiopian joints to tendon in your bowl of Vietnamese pho to tongue on the menu at elegant restaurants like CityZen.
Here's a round-up of some great bizarre bites in the DC area. And remember, don't knock it till you've tried it.
